PLAXPOT Plasama

What is Plaxpot Plasma Fibroblast TREATMENT

Plasma Fibroblast is an innovative development in aesthetic treatments using the fourthstate of matter, plasma. The Plaxpot Plasma Pen probe creates superficial trauma viaplasma arcs from a small probe floating just above the skin's surface, allowing specificareas of concern to be targeted. The thermal trauma triggers collagen production, causing the skin in its vicinity totighten and lift. Results will be noticeable after just one treatment and over the next 90days, the skin will continue to look tighter and smoother

What areas and concerns can be treated?

Plasma Fibroblast can be performed on the face, neck, hands and most parts of thebody, and may assist with lifting and rejuvenation of fine lines and wrinkles (includingdroopy eyelids, crows feet, frown lines & smokers lines), stretch marks, skin laxity(including the stomach), skin tags, millia and capillaries, as well as improving overallskin tone and texture.

What does Plaxpot Plasma Fibroblast feel like?

Topical anaesthetic will need to be applied to the area prior to treatment. Depending on the percentage strength used, most clients will only feel a warm prickle throughout the treatment, which is completely tolerable. Some clients don’t feel anything at all!

What can be expected post treatment?

Once the Plasma Fibroblast treatment is finished, the Plaxpot clinician will applyDermaHeal - a Plasma Fibroblast post care treatment balm, to help cool and protectthe area, and aid in the healing process. Over the following 24-72 hours a mild sunburn-like sensation may befelt and small carbon crusts will form over the area in a dottedformation. These crusts are there to protect each micro wound, meaning it is important that they naturally fall off and are not picked off. DermaHeal can continue to be applied to aid any discomfort and healing. Some mild swelling can be expected for 24-72 hours.

How many treatments will be required?

Depending on the severity of the area of concern, anywhere from 1-3 treatments maybe required. Consult a Plaxpot clinician for a personalised treatment plan.

How to prepare for your PLAXPOT Plasma Treatment

There isn’t any special preparation needed prior to having your HIFU treatment, but preferably arrive at your appointment without any makeup on the treatment area. It’s always good to avoid sun exposure, and stop using any skin irritants such as glycolic/salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, retinol products such as Retin A, Tazorac, Triluma, Differin, and Vitamin C on the area being treated 48hrs prior to the treatment.. If you are taking antibiotics please let us know. PLAXPOT Plasma isn't recommended for people with infections and open skin lesions at the target area, severe or cystic acne, and metallic implants in the treatment area.

To make sure you are a suitable candidate and understand the Plaxpot Plasma Fibroblast procedure a consultation must take place before a booking.
